What does Agile Chat cost?
There is no base fee and no subscription. You top up credit in euros and pay per answer. A short question in Balanced mode costs about 1.0 ct, in Economy mode about 0.04 ct. The exact price is shown under every answer. To get you started, we give you €2 of credit.
Do I need a credit card to get started?
No. After signing up, you have €2 starter credit and can get going straight away. You only need a payment method once you top up credit.
What are connectors?
Connectors link Agile Chat to your Agile accounts, such as calendar, project management, CRM or storage. You connect 23 Agile apps with one click. The chat then reads appointments, tasks or files there with your permissions and creates entries when you ask. You can also connect your own MCP servers.
Can the chat change anything without my knowledge?
No. Reading happens without asking; anything that changes something needs your approval: Allow, Always allow or Deny. For each tool, you decide whether it always asks, is always allowed or is switched off entirely.
Which modes are there, and which should I choose?
Economy: Lightning-fast and very affordable – for quick questions, texts and translations. Balanced: Our recommendation: powerful and half the price of Thorough. Thorough: The most capable model – for tricky analyses, code and long texts. Balanced is the default, 50% cheaper than Thorough. You can switch modes at any time, even for a single answer.
Where is my data stored?
We store chats, files and accounts on servers in Nuremberg, Germany. To generate the answer, an AI provider processes your message (Anthropic; OpenAI for images and speech). The providers do not use data sent through our API for training.
What happens if an answer fails?
You pay for what the AI actually processed – even if an answer is interrupted. If an answer doesn’t come about at all because of an error, it costs nothing. And an answer only starts if your credit is sure to cover it.
Can I use Agile Chat as a team?
Yes. Everyone in the workspace uses shared credit. You see usage per person and can set a monthly limit for each person. Projects and assistants can be shared within the team.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. Agile Chat can be installed as an app on iPhone, Android and computers, with push notifications and dictation. On Android and computers, you can share texts, links and files from other apps straight into a new chat.
Is there an API?
Yes. Everything the interface can do is also available via the REST API with an API key. With MCP, you can also bring Agile Chat into other AI assistants.
