Where your data is
Account, chats, projects, assistants, memory
Hetzner, Nuremberg (Germany)
The application and database run on our servers in the Hetzner Online GmbH data centre in Nuremberg.
Uploaded and generated files
Hetzner Object Storage, Nuremberg
Files are kept in object storage in Nuremberg. Your browser uploads directly to it, and files are retrieved via short-lived, signed links.
Answers, web search, code execution
Anthropic (Claude), USA
For every answer, the necessary context is sent to Anthropic: your message, the conversation history, attachments, instructions, memories and results from connectors.
Images, dictation, read aloud
OpenAI, USA
Only if you use these features: the image description or the image, the voice recording or the text to be read aloud.
Payments
Stripe, Ireland
Top-ups and invoices are handled by Stripe. We never see card details.
Transfers to the USA are based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where the provider is certified, on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We send system emails via Twilio SendGrid. The full list can be found in the privacy policy and the data processing agreement.
Protection
What we do to keep it secure
No training on your data
Anthropic and OpenAI do not use data that comes in through their API to train their models. Neither do we.
Encrypted credentials
We store the credentials for your connectors in encrypted form. They cannot be read through any interface, not even our API.
Approvals before changes
Tools that only read run immediately. Anything that changes something waits for your Allow, Always allow or Deny.
Consent per person
A connector only gets access after the person concerned has agreed in the app’s sign-in dialogue, and only with their permissions.
Memory can be switched off
Every memory is visible and can be deleted individually. Memory can be switched off entirely. Temporary chats are never included.
Separate workspaces
Every workspace is strictly separated. Even within a team, no one but you sees your private chats.
Secure connections
All connections use TLS. Custom connectors only via HTTPS; internal network addresses are blocked.
No content in logs
Our server logs contain no chat content, secrets or credentials.
Deletion
What you delete is gone.
- You can delete individual chats, files, artifacts and memories yourself at any time.
- Temporary chats don’t appear in your history and are deleted after 24 hours.
- Shared chats and published artifacts are public until you stop sharing them.
- If you delete your account, we delete all content including stored files. Database backups are removed after 30 days.
- We keep bookings and invoices for as long as the law requires.
For businesses
Data processing agreement
If you use Agile Chat as a business, we process personal data contained in your content on your behalf. The DPA for Agile software applies automatically and includes a list of all sub-processors. The Agile Chat Terms and Conditions apply.
Answers are generated by AI. They may contain errors; check important information before you use it. We do not make automated decisions about individuals.
